Job Overview:
As a Data Analyst, you will provide the management and operations teams with accurate, timely, and actionable data insights by maintaining clean data, supporting Odoo reporting, and producing clear dashboards/reports, so that all companies can achieve better operational efficiency and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting and Data Accuracy
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports within agreed timelines.
- Ensure a high level of data accuracy and reliability in all reports through regular validation and spot checks.
- Consolidate and analyse data from various sources to support management decision-making.
- Odoo System Support
- Monitor and support the use of the Odoo system across teams, including reports and operational data entries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system or data-related issues within a reasonable timeframe.
- Maintain data integrity by identifying and correcting duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate records.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting Frameworks
- Design and develop key metric frameworks to track business and project performance.
- Ensure performance metrics are aligned with existing reporting capabilities within Odoo and Excel.
- Support management by implementing dashboards or reports used in monthly performance reviews.
- Operational Efficiency & Insights
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to management to support operational improvements.
- Track the implementation and impact of improvement initiatives in collaboration with relevant teams.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Programming, Data Analysis or related area.
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts
- Skilled in Excel (pivot tables, lookup formulas), Power BI, and Odoo reporting
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret operational and business data
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and disciplined data-checking habits
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical users
- Able to work under tight timelines and handle multiple requests
- Proactive in identifying data issues and suggesting improvements
- Preferably with experience in business operations, supply chain, finance, or reporting
