Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and innovative Product Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Design & Drafting:
- Conceptualize and prepare shop drawings for customized furniture based on project requirements and site conditions.
- Create technical drawings of existing standard products for production purposes.
- Product Innovation:
- Develop original new products in Malaysia based on concept drawings and input from designers.
- Project & Site Management:
- Assist in project and site management, including site visits, measurements, drawings, specifications, finishing details, documentation, and progress reporting to management.
- Collaboration:
- Coordinate and work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure successful site renovations and product development.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field with relevant furniture experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Hands-on with a willingness to learn on-site and off-site.
- Own transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, BM, and Chinese.
