Responsibilities:
- Responsible in negotiating, compiling & processing of material purchase for the best quality & cost
- Undertake to improve and monitor vendors' performance in terms of pricing, delivery and quality.
- Identify, qualify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure suitability and cost effectiveness of purchase.
- Update & maintain product data in the system
- Knowledge of importation process would be an advantage
Requirement:
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years of experience in purchasing/buyer position
- Meticulous, resourceful and possess effective problem-solving skills
- Strong mindset to work in stressful and unstructured conditions
- Able to work independently and meet tight deadline
- Well verse in Microsoft Office software
- Possess a good communication skills
- Able to converse in any Chinese dialect would be advantageous (as the team and suppliers mostly communicates in Chinese)
