Job Responsibilities & Scope:
To source for materials and services required to support aircraft maintenance operations and managing engineering bonded store.
Primary Responsibilities:
- To manage material request from engineering staff and to liaise with suppliers from LM approved providers list to procure the requested material.
- Initiate Purchase Request for purchase of materials and forward to EM for further approval.
- Issue Purchase Orders after approval has been granted by HOO and GM or by HOO only (if purchase value is within HOO approval authority).
- To timely perform MIGO in SAP after receiving of materials or services from provider and to update finance department in order to proceed with payment release.
- To manage outgoing and incoming shipment for tool loan, equipment loan and spare parts delivery.
- To perform receiving inspection for materials supplied to LM and to ensure that it is in compliance with specific criteria mentioned in LM MOE and Quality Notices.
- To manage engineering bonded store for all aircraft materials and to ensure that only serviceable items are kept in this store.
- All consumables and parts with shelf-life expiry date shall be checked and verified before being entered into bonded store database.
- Ensure all parts kept in bonded store are properly segregated and organized in accordance with warehouse standard practices. Record of inventories must be timely updated into system.
- Responsible for all inventory movements and close monitoring of daily bonded store and POL store activities.
- Responsible for the general housekeeping of the bonded store and ensure proper storage of parts at its designated area.
- To ensure that the condition of bonded store is maintained in accordance LM MOE requirements.
- Maintain stock accuracy in bonded store and inform immediate superior when discrepancies found.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics / warehouse management or Diploma in Logistics / warehouse management.
- Ideally to have 2 to 5 years of working experience in logistics and supply chain environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & conversation to SAP.
- Own a valid driving license (Manual & Auto transmission).
- Experience in Aviation industry logistics / procurement will be an added advantage.
- Must be fit and able to perform lifting of boxes within reasonable size and below 10 kg.
