Job Purpose:


He / She will be responsible to assist the PPTRM in managing the daily operations of the PPTRD.


Responsibilities:


  • To assist the PPTRM in preparing for man-hour planning for the base (including hangar workshops) and line maintenance operations.
  • To assist the PPTRM categorize the Work Order and verify whether it falls within the Scope of Approval of LM and its associated documents.
  • To assist the PPTRM in preparing the Planner based on the customer/operator Work Order.
  • To assist the PPTRM to review the Planning of Critical Maintenance Tasks on weekly basis to ensure all the requisite are met.
  • To assist the PPTRM to check if the additional work raised during the maintenance, whether it falls within the Scope of Approval of LM before proceeding any further.
  • To assist the PPTRM in requesting Work Order from CSM and obtain an Approval Letter to use LM paperwork.
  • To assist the PPTRM in ensuring the preparation of the Maintenance Work Package, which includes work cards, worksheets, and related documentation required to perform the necessary maintenance, by using the appropriate maintenance data and updating them as required whenever there is a new revision of any maintenance data.
  • To assist the PPTRM in ensuring the documents in use to record the maintenance are all current and up to date.
  • To assist PPTRM in retention and control of the Aircraft Maintenance Work Package, the original copies of the work package together with the maintenance release certificate will be forwarded to the aircraft owner/operator.
  • To ensure that the Technical Record Executive scans a copy of the Work Packages and stored it on the company network server, while also maintaining backup copies on an external hard drive.
  • To assist the PPTRM in controlling the issuance of tracking number for CAAM/EASA/DGCAI Form 1.
  • To review Work Cards created by Technical Service Officer for Critical Maintenance Tasks as per the LM Quality Notice and CDCCL items based on the Manufacturer’s documentation, such as maintenance data, or Customer’s Maintenance Program or requirement and issuing Worksheet or Work Cards corresponding to the work scope.
  • To assist the PPTRM in reviewing issuance of additional Worksheet, reflecting the requirement of the Independent Inspection when the relevant column in the Work Card is not available.
  • To review in ensuring that Maintenance Planner clearly indicate the ‘critical’ tasks which require and Independent Inspection when issue a Worksheet and/or Workcard.
  • To assist the PPTRM in assessing whether the task to be performed is within the technical capability of LM (e.g., facility, maintenance personnel, tools and equipment, maintenance data, materials, etc.). In case where LM’s A3 Rating (Rotorcraft Maintenance) requires the usage of B (Engine) or C (Component) Rating-related maintenance data while performing the tasks ‘on-wing’.
  • To assist the PPTRM in ensuring that a list of CRS issued under this privilege is kept and made available to National Authorities upon request that prepared by Technical Record Executive.
  • To assist the PPTRM in controlling the list of operators for whom maintenance is provided by LM, with details of the types of aircraft/engine combination and the scope of work undertaken, e.g., base maintenance, line maintenance, defect rectification etc., with any limitations.
  • To assist the PPTRM in coordinating with the customer/operator to conduct training or briefings for LM personnel on the usage and completion of their paperwork.
  • To assist the PPTRM in Monitoring and ensuring the correct completion of customer-provided paperwork by reviewing all completed paperwork before returning them to the customer. All completed documentation shall be properly certified and returned to the customer/operator, as required.
  • To assist the PPTRM in checking the completeness and identifying discrepancies on RBWS workshop worksheet. Any discrepancies should be emailed to RBWS for correction.
  • To assist the PPTRM in consulting customer regarding aircraft documentations such as Forecast, discrepancies in aircraft documents, used aircraft report.
  • To assist the PPTRM in conducting a review of aircraft documentation to determine the feasibility and scope of restoration for customer aircraft.
  • To assist the PPTRM in the preparation and review of aircraft documentation as part of the Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) report.
  • To assist the PPTRM in providing MHR, spares, tooling and materials details to proposal department for quotation preparations and invoicing purposes. 
  • To assist the PPTRM in conducting Competency Assessment. 
  • To assist the PPTRM in leading and mentoring the team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Comply with additional assignments, as directed by the Production Planning and Technical Records Manager or Engineering Manager.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Degree in Aircraft Maintenance or other related technical field with at least 7 years’ experience in CAMO, Part 145 or within Production Planning and Fleet Management environment.
  • Or 14 years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning and Technical Records or MRO environment.
  • Possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to aircraft documentation and record-keeping. 
  • Intermediate level in technical knowledge related to aircraft maintenance engineering.
  • A high level of interpersonal skills is required to maintain an effective relationship between departments.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and computerized maintenance Planner to perform job functions.
  • Ability to adapt to a variable work schedule, which may include working extra hours during project closure periods, to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Ability to solve problems under pressure. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Must be capable of adapting to changing priorities.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
