Job Purpose:
He / She will be responsible to ensure that all the required personnel, tools, equipment, materials, spare parts and maintenance data are available, to avoid interferences between different activities ongoing and to ensure safe completion of the maintenance without unnecessary time pressure.
Responsibilities:
- To assist PPTRM in preparing the spares, tools, POL and material details based on the Customer/Operator Work Order prior to the handover to Production Planning & Technical Records Deputy Manager.
- To assist the PPTRM in ensuring that all necessary resources, such as hangar / workshop, qualified manpower, staff, facilities, tools, equipment, parts, and documentation are available to safely accomplish the tasks.
- To assist the PPTRM in checking the availability of the tools/equipment required to perform the maintenance. For each task, identify the specific tools/equipment requirements as stated in the applicable maintenance data.
- To assist in raising Material Requisition Form (MRF) for any parts or materials required based on customer WO/PO that have been quoted.
- Coordinate with Logistic Officer for parts, part status, estimated delivery dates.
- To review Maintenance Work Package, which includes work cards, worksheets, and related documentation for performing maintenance, using the latest maintenance data prepared by Maintenance Planner prior to handover to the Service Station.
- To assist the PPTRM in ensuring that Maintenance Planner clearly indicate the ‘critical’ tasks that require and Independent Inspection when issuing a Worksheet and/or Workcard.
- To assist the Production Planning & Technical Record Deputy Manager in updating Planner.
- To vetting and ensuring the correct completion of customer-provided paperwork by reviewing all completed paperwork, shall be properly certified before returning them to the Maintenance Planner.
- Comply with additional assignments, as directed by the Production Planning and Technical Records Deputy Manager.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Aircraft Maintenance or other related technical or Engineering field with at least 5 years’ experience in CAMO, Part 145 or within Production, Planning and Fleet Management environment.
- Or 8 years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning and Technical Records or MRO environment.
- Basic level in technical knowledge related to aircraft maintenance engineering.
- Possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to aircraft documentation and record-keeping.
- A high level of interpersonal skills is required to maintain an effective relationship between departments.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and computerized maintenance Planner to perform job functions.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety standards.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work extended hours during project closure periods.
- Must be capable of adapting to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to solve problems under pressure.
- Highly organized and able to multitask.
