TECHNICIAN

Job Purpose:

To assist Senior technician in performing aircraft maintenance related tasks as assigned to the best quality standards in a specific time frame whilst maintaining conducive working environment and observing safety and discipline in accordance with the company and relevant aviation authority requirements.

Responsibilities:

• To assist Senior Technician to carry out all aircraft maintenance tasks as assigned and assist in troubleshooting and rectify aircraft and components related defects found during maintenance.
• To perform assigned task within specific time frame and maintaining high quality standard by using proper tool and equipment and correct materials.
• Responsible for the task performed and to timely complete own paperwork
• To comply safety requirement in relation to the task before, during and after performing maintenance of aircraft and its components.
• Ensure that tool control is strictly enforced and all equipment are properly maintained.
• To ensure a conducive working environment by practicing good housekeeping and proper usage of tools, equipment and facilities.
• Responsible for daily timecard correct entry and timely submission and maintains regular and adequate status of work in the department.
• To carry out any other task as directed by the Deputy Maintenance Manager / LAE’s / Senior technicians.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Min. Diploma in aircraft maintenance related field
• Must be able to read and understand instructions written in English
• Adhere to company established procedures at all times
• Resourceful and knowledgeable in technical subjects
• Must be able to use standard tools and operate a basic maintenance support equipment
