Job Purpose
The Incoming & Outgoing Officer is responsible to carry out all the activity related to the Import, Export and shipments of Spare Parts.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Perform the final physical inspection of Outgoing materials before delivery to customer taking the proper measurement & weight to be taken for the items that have to be exported
- Perform PGI (Post Good Issue) in SAP and inform the customer the parts are ready for collection informing them about weight & dimension of parcel in order for them to arrange the transportation, in the frame of Ex-Works contracts
- Call the forwarder and arrange the shipment with regards to DAP (Delivery at Place) contracts.
- Segregate physically the material ready for collection on the rack in order to not mix up parcels for different customers.
- Apply the proper Label to each parcel before shipping (ie. label for Fragile, Keep Dry, AOG, This Side up OR DG labels like “Flammable Liquid” and “Non-Flammable compresses Gas)
- Process the outgoing shipments on a timely manner with the regard to the targets given by the Head of Material Services & Logistic
- Store all the signed delivery notes after customer pick up
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Previous experience of at least 2 years in Logistic
- High School Diploma
- Fluent in English
- Good communication skills
- Able to work in a multicultural environment
- Target Oriented
- Able to work with tight timelines
- Professional and able to work in a team
