Job Summary
We are looking for a Korean/Japanese Translator to support our production and localization team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both English and Korean/Japanese, and possess excellent communication and coordination skills. This role involves translating a wide range of documents, interpreting during meetings, and facilitating communication between internal teams and external stakeholders. Experience in project coordination or management is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Translation & Interpretation:
- Translate documents such as briefs, feedback, and emails (Japanese ↔ English)
- Interpret during meetings and calls to ensure effective communication
- Liaise with clients and team members in Japanese and English on a day-to-day basis
- Collaborate with the production team to accurately convey feedback and instructions
- Troubleshoot and resolve communication gaps between clients and internal teams
Project Coordination (when required):
- Assist in coordinating resources and tracking the execution of tasks and deliverables
- Support planning, scheduling, and monitoring of project progress
- Help document project requirements and maintain clear communication between stakeholders
- Ensure tasks are completed on time and meet expected quality standards
- Maintain proper project documentation and reports
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of translation and interpretation experience (Japanese-English)
- Proficiency in Japanese with at least JLPT N2 certification
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented, accountable, and team player
- Prior experience in the tech industry is a plus
- Project management experience is an added advantage
