Job Objectives

Design and Develop Hydraulic Systems:

  • Create and optimize hydraulic systems for various applications and industries.
  • Ensure efficient fluid flow, pressure control, and energy transfer.

Troubleshoot and Diagnose Hydraulic Systems:

  • Investigate issues related to hydraulic equipment.
  • Diagnose problems, identify root causes, and propose solutions.

Conduct Tests on Hydraulic Systems:

  • Perform tests to validate system performance and safety.
  • Evaluate components such as pumps, valves, and actuators.

Analyse Test Results and Provide Recommendations:

  • Analyse data from hydraulic tests.
  • Offer recommendations for system improvement and efficiency.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Hydraulic System Design:

  • Designing hydraulic systems that meet specific requirements.
  • Selecting appropriate components such as pumps, valves, and motors.

Operational support:

  • Generating drilling fluid & cementing program by cooperating with service providers.
  • Supporting logistics related to drilling fluid & cementing in cooperating with service providers and logistics superintendent.

Research and Improvement:

  • Evaluating fluid lab test results provided from service providers.
  • Conducting research to improve existing hydraulic systems.

Testing and Safety Assurance:

  • Testing hydraulic systems to ensure they are safe, efficient, and effective.

Shall have required qualifications, experience and competencies:

  • Possess a minimum of eight (8) years of experience as Fluid engineer or technician, and minimum of twelve (12) years as industry experience.
  • Fluent in English language both Writing & Spoken
  • BOSIET and IWCF Well Control Certificate Course (Subsea Supervisor level)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

(PSEP) through its subsidiaries INPEX Malaysia E&P 4E Sdn. Bhd. and INPEX Malaysia E&P SK418 Sdn. Bhd. The PSCs cover Block 4E and Block SK418, offshore hydrocarbon exploration licenses located northeast of Sarawak in Malaysia that were recently awarded to INPEX following PETRONAS’ Malaysia Bid Round 2022.
