Job Objectives

Develop and Implement Safety Policies and Procedures

  • HSE Supervisor create and enforce safety protocols within an organization. They develop policies that promote occupational health and safety awareness.
  • Train Employees on Safety Procedures:
  • HSE Supervisor employees about safety practices, emergency procedures, and hazard prevention. Effective training ensures that everyone understands and follows safety guidelines.

Conduct Safety Audits and Inspections:

  • Regular audits and inspections help identify potential hazards. HSE Supervisor assess workplace conditions, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure Compliance with Safety Regulations and Standards:
  • HSE Supervisor stay informed about safety laws and industry standards. They work to ensure that the organization adheres to these regulations, minimizing risks.

Investigate Incidents and Accidents:

  • When accidents occur, HSE Supervisor to determine the cause and prevent recurrence. They analyze incidents, recommend corrective actions, and track safety improvements.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor staff to evaluate if health and safety laws are being followed.
  • Assess equipment and machinery to gauge if they are in safe, working order.
  • Investigate on-site accidents.
  • Create plans to improve health and safety in the workplace.
  • Educate staff on health and safety protocols.
  • Prepare reports for management.

Production Sharing Contracts (PSC) with Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (PCSB) and Petroleum Sarawak Exploration & Production Sdn. Bhd. (PSEP) through its subsidiaries INPEX Malaysia E&P 4E Sdn. Bhd. and INPEX Malaysia E&P SK418 Sdn. Bhd. The PSCs cover Block 4E and Block SK418, offshore hydrocarbon exploration licenses located northeast of Sarawak in Malaysia that were recently awarded to INPEX following PETRONAS’ Malaysia Bid Round 2022.
