Objectives of the Organization
- Accomplish exploration activity in Deepwater Block 4E, with due consideration for HSE, by proper management and timely execution of the project as the operator in cooperation with the joint venture partners.
- Accomplish exploration activity in Block SK418 by proper management and timely execution of the project in cooperation with the joint venture partners.
- Achieve early growths of Malaysia business as one of core areas of INPEX Group, (i) actively seek for new business opportunity, (ii) enhance the capability and competency of people in the KL Office, and (iii) expand the organization in line with the progress of the projects.
- Contribute to business operation and development aimed at early development and realization of production and establishment of low-carbon business in Malaysia.
Job Objectives
- To provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the Exploration Department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and efficient coordination across teams and stakeholders.
- To assist in the preparation, formatting, and maintenance of technical documents, reports, and presentations, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely delivery.
- To coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and departmental schedules, supporting exploration staff in both internal and external engagements.
- To manage departmental records, data entry, and filing systems, ensuring all information is organized, accessible, and compliant with company standards.
- To support procurement, budget tracking, and invoice processing tasks for exploration-related activities in collaboration with Finance and Procurement teams.
- To act as a liaison between the Exploration Department and other internal departments, facilitating effective communication and workflow.
- To assist with the onboarding and administrative needs of new technical staff or consultants within the department.

Production Sharing Contracts (PSC) with Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (PCSB) and Petroleum Sarawak Exploration & Production Sdn. Bhd. (PSEP) through its subsidiaries INPEX Malaysia E&P 4E Sdn. Bhd. and INPEX Malaysia E&P SK418 Sdn. Bhd. The PSCs cover Block 4E and Block SK418, offshore hydrocarbon exploration licenses located northeast of Sarawak in Malaysia that were recently awarded to INPEX following PETRONAS’ Malaysia Bid Round 2022.
