The Interface Manager is responsible for taking care of the interface activities of the project; from design stage to completion of the project. The Interface Manager needs to ensure that every interface is discernible, tracked and closed along the project. The communication between the project team and interfacing team shall be facilitated by the Interface Manager. The Interface Manager needs to make sure that the requirements of the contract are being fulfilled.

Responsibilities

●      Ensure that the interface management plan is developed and interfaces are managed accordingly

●      Ensure that interface is managed accordingly to the Project Scope of work, Strategies, Execution Plan, and Constructing Strategies

●      The status of interface agreements across projects are monitored

●      To ensure regular updates to the Project Managers are provided when appropriate

●      Coordination and Interface meetings with clients are participated along as well as other interfacing parties

●      Interface Manager should lead the interface with the LRT operator in order to facilitate the site access

●      Ensure support is given to the Construction team for the finalisation of Installation methodology and Safety Hazard Assessments.

●      Making sure that SHE requirement and Quality Process are taken into consideration and followed accordingly

●      Reporting on the interface activities and risks/issues to the project management as well as participating on project reporting.

Measurement of Performance

The performance of the role will be evaluated according to the below:

●      Deliverables are delivered on time (activity completion and report issuance)

●      Quality of documents

●      Accuracy of the work reported and done

Requirements

●      10 years of experience as power supply engineer

●      5 years of experience of interface management

●      Someone who have a strong leadership, takes initiative and decision minded

●      Someone is who is conscientious and rigorous with work

●      Good proficiency in English

●      Having experience in interfacing of electrical system

●      Proficient in Microsoft Office
