JOB SUMMARY
Establish and maintain a high performance Sales & Marketing team for EP Plus to effectively deliver and meet the Company’s sales expectations and target.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and implement effective sales & marketing strategies, and lead nationwide sales & marketing team towards achieving the Company’s sales objectives.
- Develop competencies and processes to create an effective and efficient Sales & Marketing team.
- Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development to ensure that the Sales & Marketing team perform in alignment with the Company’s business goals.
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure effective hiring, training, development and retention of the Sales & Marketing team.
- Identify changes in the healthcare, delivery system and competitive pressure in order to develop and modify the Company’s sales & marketing strategies.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budget control and incentive plan to ensure that the Sales team perform in the direction of the Company’s business goals.
- Provide strategic guidance to marketing for brand plan development, marketing A&P management, stocks & sample management, inventory forecasts, and optimum marketing activities execution to ensure the Sales team perform in the direction of the Company’s business goals.
- Establish effective relationships and collaborations with the Company’s departments to address key business issues and opportunities.
- Lead and guide the Sales & Marketing team to adhere to the Company’s policies, business integrity and Pharmaceutical Association of Malaysia’s code of conduct.
KEY CHALLENGES
- Creating a dynamic and well driven Sales & Marketing team nationwide.
- Retaining key employees and hiring the right talent to join the Sales team.
- Motivating the Sales & Marketing team to accomplish the Company’s business objectives amidst the regional economic conditions.
- Managing the Sales& Marketing team and own responsibilities concurrently.
- Strict adherence to the Company’s business integrity and Pharmaceutical Association of Malaysia’s code of conduct in the midst of business temptations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Knowledge
- Bachelor or Post-graduate degree in Business, Medicine, Pharmacy, Science or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of the medical semantics, products and practices.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills to work with people at all levels (Communication / Customer Service Orientation).
- Capable leader who is able to build and guide the Sales team (Developing Self & Others)
- Business awareness and analytical skills (Business Acumen).
- Ability to present information and negotiate with people at all levels (Business Acumen).
- Strong sense of rightfulness (Integrity).
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in managing a direct sales force.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plan.
- Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and coach a team.
