JOB SUMMARY
Analyze, develop and implement marketing strategies & executional plans to maximize the return of investment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop a brand plan for assigned products/brands aimed at increasing market share, achieving sustainable growth, maximizing return on investment (ROI), and meeting business objectives and financial targets.
- Implement identified marketing strategies to ensure they are translated into workable plan and aligned with set marketing brand and strategy.
- Manage and control the overall brand expenses to ensure optimizing resources and achieving set business objectives.
- Track, monitor and document implemented marketing activities (developed against specific set of quantified targets) and outcomes to ensure they are aligned with the business objectives.
- Carry out marketing post-mortem exercises and propose appropriate mitigation plan in a manner that will achieve desired business objectives.
- Develop a marketing communication and advertising plan for assigned brands, ensuring alignment with the brand strategy and support for business objectives, while adhering to local regulations.
- Support Marketing Manager to guide and monitor the junior marketer(s) to deliver assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Conduct joint visits with the sales team to customers to gain market insights and assess the effectiveness of deployed marketing collateral, messaging, and campaigns.

- Ensuring consumer/ target audience has a positive experience with the products.
- Optimized allocated funds to consistently innovate. Thus, there is a need to select projects that could generate more value.
- Project management skills to ensure effective monitoring of timeline and deliverables.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in related Science is required
Skills
- Sound knowledge and understanding of product management and marketing skills
- Strong commercial and business acumen, coupled with the ability to understand and strategically apply technical and scientific information.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think creatively and critically, as well as look beyond the obvious when developing solutions.
- Ability to deliver timely results in the management of multiple complex tasks and/or projects.
- Ability to prioritise multiple competing tasks according to the business dynamics.
- Dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers, customer-centric.
- Possess good communication skills in both written and verbal (presentation skills).
- Ability to work independently and function within a team.
Experience
4-5 years of commercial experience in sales/marketing, with at least 2 years in product management and marketing related experience in health sciences, medical devices or pharmaceutical. Experience in reproductive medicine is an added advantage.
