Job title: Sales Manager

Position Summary:

As Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and maximizing sales opportunities for the hotel. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute effective sales strategies to attract new clients mainly in leisure, corporate & meeting groups, retain existing accounts, and meet or exceed revenue targets. You will actively engage with prospective clients, build relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and overall business success.


  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, goals, and action plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive insights.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to establish sales budgets, and forecasts.
  • Identify and target potential clients and market segments to generate new business leads and sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, travel agencies, DMCs, corporate accounts, event planners, and industry partners.
  • Conduct sales presentations during sales visits, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to secure new business.
  • Manage and nurture existing client accounts to foster long-term partnerships and maximize revenue potential.
  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and revenue management, to deliver exceptional guest experience.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture, encouraging teamwork and sharing of best practices.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of sales activities with overall hotel operations.

Desired Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Sales Manager.
  • 4 to 5 years preferred experience in a HOTEL environment;
  • Strong network in the luxury travel market;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Bahasa Malay;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel/Marketing preferred
  • Proven Sales track record including campaign creation;
