Job Responsibilities

    • Lead and supervise the daily operations of the branch collections team, including workflow management and performance monitoring
    • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements including Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and Hire Purchase Act 1967
    • Manage and resolve escalated customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
    • Prepare comprehensive reports on collection performance, delinquency trends, and operational metrics
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Credit, Operations, and Finance departments to improve collection processes

Job Requirements

    • Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or related field; Degree preferred
    • At least 3-5 years of experience in collections, credit management, or related roles, preferably in automotive financing or hire purchase industry
    • Proven supervisory experience managing teams of 3 or more staff
    • Strong understanding of Malaysian financial regulations, particularly the Hire Purchase Act 1967
    • Excellent command of Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in Mandarin or Tamil would be an advantage
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiar with financial management systems
    • Outstanding problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
    • Valid Malaysian driving license and willingness to travel between branches when required
