We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Executive. In this role, you will supports the Interim Head of Revenue to generate leads, contact potential customers; nurture and maintain existing customer relationships. The incumbent supports customers in decision-making by identifying and offering solutions aligning to customers’ requirements by working closely with the senior leaders and other departments in Borong.



Responsibilities

  • Gain expertise in Borong Indonesia’s products and platform, focusing on technical features and functionalities.
  • Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing, building strong client relationships.
  • Handle incoming leads, qualify prospects, and complete necessary administrative tasks for business customers.
  • Analyze the needs and challenges of business owners, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify customer pain points and offer tailored solutions, especially for those dissatisfied with current tools.
  • Provide customized product demonstrations of Borong Direct as a business solution.
  • Negotiate effectively and close sales to meet targets.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Customer Success teams for smooth onboarding and enhanced customer satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • Diploma 3 or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of the business landscape, with analytical skills to identify opportunities and develop effective business solutions.
  • Genuine interest in IT and software, especially B2B platforms or SaaS.
  • Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills for market data analysis and understanding customer needs.
  • Ability to build relationships and demonstrate strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with a proactive approach.
  • Familiarity with new software and technologies in the B2B sector.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in B2B, SaaS, POS, FMCG, Retail, or F&B.
