We are looking for a motivated Business Management or Admin Intern (FinTech) to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, real-world customer support environment. This role is ideal for students pursuing Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Commerce, Communications, or related fields who want to apply their academic knowledge in practice.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing?

  • Merchant Onboarding: Assist in onboarding new merchants to ensure smooth activation and compliance with company processes.
  • Customer Support & Engagement: Providing first-line support and respond to customer inquiries professionally across email, chat, and phone, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Performance Tracking: Collaborate with account managers and operations teams to monitor merchant performance and resolve challenges.
  • Payment Follow-up Support (P2P): Assist in following up on Promise-to-Pay (P2P) commitments, updating records accurately, and coordinating with customers to ensure timely payment reminders and tracking.
  • Loan Processing & Support: Assist borrowers with eligibility checks, documentation, and preparation of Personal and Business Loan agreements, ensuring accuracy throughout the financing process.
  • Experience Enhancement: Contribute ideas to improve merchant and customer experience.
  • Process Improvement, Documentation & Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and workflow efficiency, while documenting onboarding steps and maintaining accurate records for reporting and continuous process improvement.

  • Portfolio & Operations Skills: Develop practical experience in client portfolio management and day‑to‑day business operations.
  • End-to-End Customer Experience Management: Gain exposure to how customer journeys are handled, from inquiry to resolution, in a real business environment.
  • Professional Communication & Stakeholder Management: Develop strong communication skills while interacting with customers and internal teams across different functions.
  • Financial Services Operations Exposure: Understand core processes such as Promise-to-Pay (P2P) follow-ups and loan agreement preparation within a fintech/financial setting.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making Skills: Learn how to assess customer issues, identify root causes, and determine appropriate solutions or escalation paths.
  • Merchant Lifecycle Knowledge: Understand end‑to‑end merchant lifecycle management within a fintech/startup environment.
  • Agreements & Partnerships: Learn the basics of financing agreements and business partnership documentation.

  • Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Commerce, Communications or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication across email, chat, and phone. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Detail Orientation: Detail-oriented in managing customer inquiries, documentation, agreement and follow-up.
  • Problem‑Solving: Able to resolve customer issues independently and escalate complex cases appropriately.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable collaborating across departments to support smooth operations and deliver good customer service outcomes. Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage changing tasks and priorities.
  • Self‑Motivation & Growth: Demonstrates initiative, is results‑driven, and eager to learn continuously.
