Responsibilities:
- Conduct research related to accounting & auditing standards.
- Assist in performing quality assurance review on audit engagement files and monitor remedial plan and follow-up action plan.
- Assist in preparing and updating audit working paper templates & checklists.
- Conduct training to auditors on auditing and accounting standards.
Requirements:
- Possess a professional qualification and a Degree in Accountancy.
- A member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
- Minimum 5 years of external audit experience and candidates who are working with major or medium-sized auditing firm or accounting bodies will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge in Companies Act, Accounting and Auditing Standards.
- Analytic and communicate well in English (oral & written).
- Motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently.
- Be able to prioritize activities, manage timelines and deal effectively with pressure.
- Computer literate, well versed in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other day to day office applications.
