Job Descriptions:
- Staying updated with the latest tax laws, regulations, and rulings, and conducting research to analyze their impact on client businesses.
- Assisting clients in meeting their tax compliance requirements, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring accurate and timely submission, and adhering to regulatory deadlines.
- Collaborating with clients to develop tax-efficient strategies, identifying opportunities for tax savings, and optimizing their overall tax position.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing ongoing tax advice and support, and addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Assisting clients during tax audits, liaising with tax authorities, and providing necessary documentation and explanations to support tax positions.
- Participating in various tax-related projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and international tax planning, provides guidance and recommendations based on the specific requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or hold a full or partial professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CTIM, CPA, or MICPA).
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a bonus for knowledge of tax and accounting software. Experience with tax research databases and ERP systems is a plus.
