Your Role at CompAsia
As a Repair and Refurbishment Technician, you will be carrying out repairs on our devices to bring it the second life it deserves. You will execute high quality at our repair center in our HQ alongside other technicians. This involves working with a team of repair specialists and executives to rejuvenate used devices that will bring great satisfaction to our customers.
The ideal candidate requires formal training and a recognized certificate in mobile device repair and restoration, possess vast knowledge of mobile device technology and keeps up to date with technological development in this area. You will assist in spreading knowledge among your colleagues, improve repair processes and focus your energy on providing our customers with the best quality experience.
What you will be working on:
- Perform level 1 and level 2 repairs on various electronic devices, including but not limited to smartphones, laptops, and tablets.
- Diagnosing hardware and software issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Conducting necessary repairs using proper methods and specialized tools and equipment withproper procedure.
- Conduct thorough testing of repaired devices to ensure functionality and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used and work performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and repair techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and share best practices.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding repair processes and quality standards.
- Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient repair environment.
- Communicate effectively with stake holders to explain repair options and provide estimates.
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance repair efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance repair skills and knowledge.
- Keeping abreast of the latest technology trends, repair techniques, and tools to improve skills and service offerings.
- Following safety protocols to protect CompAsia personnel and customers from potential hazard sassociated with electronic repairs.
- Coordinating stock movement and repairs with third party repairers as the need arises.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- A recognized certification in mobile device repair for Level 1 & 2 repairs.
- Minimum 1 year experience in full time mobile device repair.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of mobile device features and operation of various models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented and able to work under pressure.
- Self-starter and ability to work strategically, creatively, and collaboratively.
