What Role Will You Play in Shaping CompAsia’s Future?
Compensation & Benefits
- Gain hands-on experience in Compensation & Benefits by supporting internal teams and learning how we collaborate with external vendors to deliver seamless employee support.
- Assist in tasks related to medical insurance, leave entitlements, and claims processing while learning how HR policies directly impact employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Turn data into insights by organize workforce data to create impactful reports on headcount and other key metrics while building your analytical skills.
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Assist in the onboarding process by preparing checklist, organizing documentation, and help create a smooth and welcoming experience for new team members.
- Coordinate system access and monitor equipment setup for new hires, as well as asset recovery for departing employees, while understanding the operational aspects of HR.
- Engage in updating employee information in HRIS during onboarding and offboarding phases, ensuring records are current and accurate.
- Help new employees feel supported by answering their questions and providing guidance during their onboarding journey, ensuring a positive and smooth transition.
People Operations & Services
- Get hands-on exposure to HR systems by supporting updates, resolving basic troubleshooting tasks, and observing user training sessions to understand system functionality.
- Participate in handling employee matters such as claims processing, leave applications, and other administrative tasks to gain insights into operational HR processes.
Strategic Process Improvements
- Participate in initiatives to streamline and enhance company policies and procedures, improving the delivery of HR services and making an impact across People Operations.
- Learn how HR systems are assessed and upgraded for optimal performance, contributing to projects that improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation and integration of HR system gaining valuable insights into how technology is leveraged to meet evolving business needs.
Intranet Portal Management & Enhancement
- Contribute to create, organizing and updating intranet content to ensure it is engaging, relevant and user friendly for employees.
- Help assess and enhance the intranet’s design, functionality and navigation, collaborating with IT to improve user experience and deliver new features.
- Monitor and analyse intranet usage metrics to uncover insights that align the platform with organizational needs while supporting employee engagement.
What Qualifications and Experience Will You Bring to Excel in This Role?
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other HR-related software applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- An understanding of HR fundamentals and relevant employment law is a plus.
Priority will be given to those who can commit 4-6 months internship.
