What Role Will You Play in Shaping CompAsia's Future?
- Development and implementation of repair and refurbishment capabilities for mobile devices, including quality control measures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for a high volume manufacturing environment.
- Assist in planning and coordinating the layout and setup of the repair and refurbishment facilities, including equipment installation and workspace organization.
- Assist in research and development of new repair processes to expand in-house refurbishment capabilities.
- Deployment of digital systemization for repair processes and its related logistical functions.
- Establish sourcing and processes for the procurement and supply of tools, spare parts and indirect materials to support production operations.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and create solutions.
- Administer policies, standards and procedures for the repair and refurbishment supply chain.
- Identify and recommend improvements in all assigned areas of responsibility to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Data analysis and reporting on process performances.
- Working with commercial business units and Customer Service team to address product, process, quality and logistical issues.
- Staying updated on the latest technology trends, repair techniques, and tools to improve skills and service offerings.
- Following safety protocols to protect CompAsia personnel and customers from potential hazards associated with electronic repairs.
- Any other duties and assignments as assigned by the company to enable the development and implementation of repair and refurbishment operations and company goals.
What Qualifications and Experience Will You Bring to Excel in This Role?
- Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics or electrical and electronics engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on manufacturing and supply chain experience in high volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of mobile device technology and operation of various makes and models of mobile devices including but not limited to mobile phones, laptops, tablets and smart watches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Integrity-driven, results-oriented self-starter with the ability to work efficiently, creatively, and collaboratively.
- Readiness to travel overseas on work assignments.
