About The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Executive to support the Compliance Team in ensuring the organisation adheres to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices while promoting a strong culture of integrity and ethical conduct. This role is suitable for candidates with some prior working experience who are eager to deepen their expertise in regulatory compliance, particularly within the fintech and/or financing space.

The ideal candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Support the Compliance team in ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assist in tracking regulatory updates and maintaining internal records of applicable laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in compliance reviews/testing, audits engagement, or internal investigations
  • Assist in preparation of regulatory reports and maintenance of proper records and registers.
  • Assist in data collection for risk assessment and risk report.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to obtain required information or documentation for compliance or audit purposes.
  • Provide operational support and other ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by the Compliance team.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in compliance, risk, audit, financial services or related industry
  • Basic understanding of compliance, AML/CFT, and regulatory requirements; prior exposure to financial institutions or fintech is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Islamic financing/ Shariah concepts is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines
