About the Role:

We are looking for a high-caliber Accounting Manager to lead our Accounting team. In this role, you will oversee both the Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL) functions, ensuring that the entire accounting ecosystem operates like a well-oiled machine.

Your mission is to ensure the absolute accuracy of our entity-level accounts while leading the Group Consolidation process for our domestic and international subsidiaries. This is a leadership role that requires a balance of technical accounting mastery, people management skills, and a strategic mindset to support CapBay’s rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the AP and GL teams, ensuring high performance, professional growth, and clear accountability across both functions.
• Regional Group Consolidation: Lead the month-end and year-end consolidation of group accounts involving multiple currencies. You will be responsible for accurate foreign currency translation, intercompany eliminations and reconciling cross-border transactions.
• Financial Oversight: Review entity-level monthly closings and management reports to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS).
• Audit & Tax Management: Act as the lead coordinator for group-wide audits, liaising with regional tax consultants for filings in multiple countries, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Process Transformation: Continuously evaluate and improve accounting workflows.
• Stakeholder Management: Provide financial insights and reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance. Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA) is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in people management and leading an accounting team.
• Technical Expertise: Strong experience in Group Consolidation of multi-currency entities and a deep understanding of full-set accounting.
• Excel & Systems: Advanced Excel skills are a must. Direct experience with Oracle NetSuite is a significant advantage.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to see the "big picture" while maintaining a sharp eye for the technical details of financial data.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
