About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Executive to oversee our financial reporting and general ledger functions. Unlike a traditional operational role, your focus will be on the integrity of our financial data. You will bridge the gap between various departmental reports and the final accounts, ensuring our monthly closing is seamless, accurate, and fully documented.

This is a pivotal role for an accounting professional who loves technical reconciliations and maintaining a "clean" set of books in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

• General Ledger & Month-End Closing: Lead the month-end closing process by ensuring all journals, accruals, and adjustments are accurately posted.
• Reconciliations: Perform detailed reconciliations between platform reports (AR) and the accounting system to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and management reports.
• Audit & Documentation: Maintain high standards of documentation for all accounting entries to ensure a "ready-to-audit" state at all times.
• Tax & Statutory Compliance: Handle corporate tax computations, SST filings, and other statutory requirements.
• Liaison: Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to facilitate smooth annual audits.
• Process Excellence: Work closely with the Accounts Payable, Treasury and other teams to ensure all sub-ledger activities are correctly reflected in the General Ledger.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, etc.).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong foundation in full-set accounting principles (General Ledger, Consolidation, and Reporting).
• Excel Mastery (Must-Have): Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and data management) to handle large data sets and reconciliations.
• Software: Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a significant advantage.
• Analytical Skills: A sharp eye for discrepancies and the ability to reconcile complex data from multiple sources.
• Mindset: Proactive, organized, and capable of working independently to meet strict reporting deadlines.
