About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Investment Relationship Manager to lead investor engagement and growth initiatives within CapBay’s P2P financing platform. This role is responsible for managing and expanding CapBay’s investor portfolio, developing strategic initiatives to grow investor participation, and ensuring high-quality investor experience and retention.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving fundraising strategies, managing High Net Worth (HNW) and institutional investor relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to align investment products with market demand and regulatory requirements.
Responsibility:
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Develop and execute investor acquisition and growth strategies to expand CapBay’s P2P investor base and funding pool
- Manage and strengthen relationships with prospective, existing, and High Net Worth (HNW) investors, acting as a trusted advisor on investment opportunities
- Lead investor engagement initiatives including portfolio reviews, investment performance updates, and client retention strategies
- Serve as a subject matter expert on CapBay’s investment products, educating investors on product structures, risk-return profiles, and market opportunities
- Provide investors with comprehensive consultation and guide investment decision-making aligned with their financial objectives and risk appetite
- Drive fundraising initiatives and collaborate with Marketing and Business teams to design targeted campaigns, investor events, and awareness programmes
- Monitor investor trends, funding behaviour, and market insights to identify growth opportunities and improve investor engagement strategies
- Oversee and ensure smooth investor onboarding processes including account setup, KYC verification, and compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements
- Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Product teams to ensure investor servicing standards and regulatory obligations are met
- Support product development initiatives by providing investor feedback and market insights to enhance product offerings and competitiveness
- Track and report investor portfolio performance, fundraising metrics, and engagement effectiveness to senior management
- Mentor and guide junior team members to strengthen team capability and service quality
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor’s degree in Investment, Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in investment advisory, financial services, wealth management, capital markets, or relationship management
- Proven experience managing High Net Worth (HNW) or institutional investor relationships will be highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, portfolio management, and risk management principles
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to investment or fundraising activities is an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and client advisory skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capability to develop and execute investor growth initiatives
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is required to support investor engagement
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced fintech environment
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
