Responsibilities 

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Develop, test, and document computer software, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems
• Research and present new approaches
• Debug and correct software defects
• Develop new or modify existing software
• Create or update project documentation
• Test software to validate the accuracy of code
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges 
• Integrate data storage solutions 
• Explore solutions beyond existing toolsets, e.g. new languages, frameworks 
• Implement best-practice into our administration and monitoring process of key systems

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has: 

• 0-3 years experience in software development (fresh graduates are welcomed) 
• Keen on learning new tools and able to work well in a fast-paced environment 
• Knowledge in developing PHP web applications (Laravel knowledge is a plus) 
• Understanding of common software design patterns and principles behind a scalable application
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as ReactJS (knowledge of React Native is a plus)
• Familiarity with MySQL/NoSQL databases and their query languages
• Proficient understanding of code-versioning tools, such as Git
