About the Role:

Our company is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer with experience in maintaining Linux servers and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both software development and IT operations, as well as a thorough understanding of security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using common CI/CD tools, e.g. Laravel Envoyer, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines
• Manage and maintain Ubuntu Linux servers in cloud environments
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and security best practices
• Implement and manage security controls throughout the software development lifecycle
• Monitor and respond to security incidents
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevSecOps and cloud security

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

We are looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• More than 5 years of experience as a DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineer
• Experience with Jenkins or other common continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
• Proficiency in Ubuntu Linux server administration and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud environments
• Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, etc.)
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
