Job Title: Engineer-Core Banking Analyst

Reporting to Title: Head of Core Banking Support

Responsibilities/ Job Description:

• Support of Core banking solutions such Oracle FLEXCUBE and Oracle banking payments Production across versions.
• Incident management , Stand by Calls & Problem resolution for production issues.
• Involve in evolution projects revolving around Core Banking including implementations of new versions.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain web services for Core banking interfacing using technologies like SOAP, REST, and XML/JSON.
• Trouble shoot technical issues in integration layers & API.
• Parameterize and configuration of bank products on Flexcube on core banking.
• Work in proximity with core banking analysis group & Interfacing teams to study the existing core banking system in place and finding the gaps between the existing products and the recent version of Flexcube and make recommendations, change request, etc.
• Ensure Test Process Governance adherence.
• Articulate problem and identify quick and effective solution among all parties including vendors.
• Work closely with the system, network, and Database administrator to perform software installations, and to configure hardware and software.
• Attend and lead status meetings with various stake holders.
• Stand by Support as pre-defined schedule for EOD and Production incidents.
• Performance optimization & documentations on existing and developing API.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters / University degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
• Must be released from his military service obligations (Male)

Language skills:

• Must possess excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral) to be able to work with international customers (France, India, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam,..).

Experience and Skills Required:

• Techno functional banking domain knowledge (i.e. Accounting, Letter of Credit, Loan and Deposit, Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Bills and Collections, Fund Transfer, OBP, Securities, Data Entry, Accounts... etc.) of Flexcube version 11 and above would be advantageous.
• Minimum two years’ experience in technical support roles in Banking or API management or software development.
• Experience in debugging and analyzing issues on technical layers.
• Experience in the functional workflows of the core banking products like Flexcube or relevant banking domain experience.
• Expertise on Java, PL/SQL, SQL, HTML, Java Script, SOAP Webservices or any programming language.
• Ability to write functions, procedures, triggers in Oracle would be advantageous.
• Knowledge in overall banking process would be advantageous.
• Customer-oriented mindset, Positive Attitude and Teamwork.
• Ability to prioritize work, work under pressure, multi-task and fast learning.
• Exposure in tools such as postman, Eclipse will be nice to have.
• Exposure in supporting daily production issues and Webservice related issues will be added advantage.
