Job Title : Engineer – QA Officer

Department/Function : INT-BUILD-FRT-LOAN

Reporting to Title : Manager - Product Owner

Responsibilities/ Job Description:

• Analyze business requirements, user journeys, and system architecture to identify relevant test cases, define comprehensive test plans, execute manual tests, and provide clear, regular reporting on test campaign progress and results.
• Work closely with development teams to understand technical constraints and improve testability.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to ensure test scenarios are aligned with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Support Bank user during User Acceptance Testing and provide test progress report.
• Explore and propose the use of Artificial Intelligence to improve test case generation, test maintenance, anomaly detection and reporting.
• Define, build, and maintain a test automation framework, including reusable methods, test data management capabilities, utilities, and shared libraries, while considering development cost, maintainability, existing BRED technologies, and compatibility with internal tools.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to improve the quality of BRED IT deliverables and provide fast, reliable feedback on product or service changes.
• Define automation eligibility criteria and design automated tests for functionalities that meet the agreed automation standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Language skills:

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing.
• Knowledge of test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework or equivalent.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong quality assurance mindset, with rigor, organization, and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of the software development life cycle is preferred.
• Experience with JIRA, including the plug-in XRAY.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Team player with an open-minded attitude, strong adaptability, anticipation skills, initiative, and proactivity.
• Experience in performance or load testing is a plus.
• Experience in developing automated internal frameworks, building monitoring systems, or improving testing effectiveness is a plus.
• Experience working in a continuous delivery culture is a plus.
• Banking knowledge is a plus.
