Main Objectives and Activities:

We are seeking an Associate - Business Analyst with a strong functional and technical understanding of the banking industry, particularly in Core Banking, Loan Origination, Credit Management, Credit Scoring, Risk, and Compliance.

The successful candidate will support IT projects for the International Banks of BRED Group, working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, external vendors, and fellow Business Analysts. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams and geographies.

The Business Analyst will contribute to requirements gathering, functional specification writing, implementation coordination, testing support, deployment preparation, user training, and project governance.

Responsibilities/ Job Description:

• Participate in and/or lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business requirements.
• Analyze requirements provided by business experts and translate them into clear functional specifications.
• Coordinate with IT experts, development leads, and IT architects to support the preparation of technical specifications.
• Contribute to the implementation of banking solutions, including coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
• Support and coordinate testing activities, including System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Assist in the design of test cases and support business teams during UAT execution.
• Follow up with external development and implementation teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Coordinate deployment activities with IT experts, vendors, and business teams.
• Prepare user guides, training materials, and deliver end-user training using a train-the-trainer approach.
• Support both project implementation activities — build — and operational support activities — run.
• Assist the Team Leader in vendor management activities, including contract follow-up, progress monitoring, and weekly vendor meetings.
• Support project governance activities, including project committees, steering committees, reporting, and status updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Language skills:

• Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required.
• French language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.

Experience and Skills Required:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Retail, SME, or Corporate Banking domains.
• Experience in an international environment and exposure to multiple geographical or cultural contexts is preferred.
• Strong functional knowledge of Core Banking activities and banking IT solutions.
• Solid understanding of Loan Origination, Credit Management, and Credit Scoring processes.
• Technical knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with the end-to-end implementation of Loan Origination or Core Banking features is an advantage.
• Understanding of functional workflows related to Core Banking, Loans, and Credit products is a plus.
• Experience with Axe Finance and/or Oracle Flexcube Core Banking is a plus.
• Experience coordinating the development and implementation of:
• Interfaces
• Batch operations
• Troubleshooting activities
• Testing-cycle issue resolution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
