Job Title : Senior Engineer – QA Officer
Department/Function : France - Transversal - Quality Assurance FRA-QA
Reporting to Title : General Manager - Head of Digital & Transverse
Main Objectives and Activities:
- Analyze customer requirements and understand functional requirements in order to design appropriate test cases for execution.
- Execute test cases within the test plan and create test reports describing software evaluation, testing, and corrections.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for new or updated software projects.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities, and perform thorough testing when bugs are resolved.
- Manage defects: log defects, follow the defect life cycle, and create defect reports.
- Update and maintain all test artefacts within the centralized test management tool, as well as test assets owned by the QA team.
- Participate in QA process improvement (designing and improving QA processes).
- Prepare summary reports.
- Work with customers at all levels of the business, demonstrate agility in day-to-day tasks, and proactively solve problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Language skills:
- Must possess excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral) to work with international customers (France, Laos, Cambodia, etc.).
Experience and Skills Required:
- Education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in developing test plans, test specifications, test cases, and test data.
- Core banking knowledge and previous professional experience in banking projects required.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience using a test management tool
