BRED IT hosts and manages all layers of BRED International Banks Information Systems: From Infrastructures to Applications (Core Banking, Internet/Mobile Banking, E-Payments…), on a 24x7 basis.

Half of the activity is currently performed for BRED Headquarters, with a focus on Projects (built with Java, COBOL, PHP, DataStage) and Production/Devops.

Mission:

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to handle or take part in projects for Electronic Payment systems (ATM, POS, Cards, VISA, Mastercard). The E-Payment Business Analyst must be able to gather requirements from the banks, conduct a technical and/or business analysis, plan the implementation up until delivery, manage unit testing and deployment.

The candidate will assist and support the Project Manager in their different tasks including all the testing and certifications phases. Following experience and skills. Business Analyst could handle his/her own projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Banks requirements, write specifications and plan for solutions implementation.
  • Elicit, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements for E-Payment products (ATM and/or POS systems, Cards system, Payment Gateway integration).
  • Define product features, pricing, settlement flows, reconciliation, chargeback and dispute processes.
  • Map and optimize end-to-end payment journeys (onboarding, authorization, clearing/settlement).
  • Support API/ISO8583 integration specifications and testing with external payment service providers, card schemes and payment gateways.
  • Work closely with Project Manager to handle projects and organize steering committees.
  • Support QA in defining test plan and scope (integration, performance, regression) and help on performing preliminary end-to-end testing to ensure the quality of the project’s deliveries.
  • Create and maintain documentation on E-Payment systems and processes.
  • Continuously upgrade knowledge on new E-Payment technologies and schemes (VISA, MasterCard, UPI, JCB, AMEX).

Required Education & Experience:

  • University degree in IT.
  • Minimum 4 years in a similar IT position.
  • Good level in English (writing and speaking).

Required competencies:

  • Strong analytical mind and technical background in E-Payment technologies.
  • Effective soft skills: stakeholder management, communication, presentation and relationship management skills to interact with banks management, vendors and technical team.
  • Knowledge in technical skills, being able to handle the projects end to end.
  • Problem solving and detail oriented.
  • Experience in project management and methodology.

Extra appreciated competencies:

  • Experience with E-Payment technologies: ATM and/or POS systems, Cards system, Payment Gateway
  • Understand the E-Payment concepts (acquiring, issuing, online transaction, dual message), and payment lifecycle: authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks.
  • Familiar with API management (REST, SOAP, XML interfaces)
    • Experience with card schemes (VISA, Mastercard and/or Union-Pay) and certification process.
  • Knowledge of EMV Standards and International Standards (PCI-DSS, VISA, MasterCard, UPI …).
  • Knowledge of Core Banking systems.
