BRED IT provides end to end Infrastructure and Applications management around Core Banking, Internet Banking and E-Payments.

Mission:
As a Senior Network Engineer, with strong knowledge about Network Security and experience with large infrastructures, you will be joining our network team based in Bangkok, Thailand:
- You will be handling our day-to-day activities with other IT teams, for all the tasks concerning the network and security-related changes required by business activities.
- Support business teams and other IT teams to select the right products / solutions, standards and delivery models according to their needs and to the existing procedures.
- You will act as a mentor to the team by proactively providing technical advice and best practices with benchmark approach
- You will ensure the highest standards in engineering by improving the knowledge of the team on technical knowledge and security approach.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging networking technologies and trends and recommend improvements to the existing infrastructure to support our growth goals.
- Build out and deliver network infrastructure as a product with automated provisioning.
- Implement and manage network automation and scripting solutions.
- Ensure Platforms and Services meet SLA requirements.
Required / Most wanted skills
- Experience in mentoring network engineers.
- Experience in building and running mission critical platform setups.
- Possess an understanding of highly reliable and scalable architectures and be familiar with implementations involving Active-Active DC, HA, Backup & Restore and other architectural patterns related to enterprise infrastructure.
- Possess an understanding of large scale network infrastructure in one or more of the following Firewall / IDS / IPS / UTM technologies: Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint
- Possess an understanding of data communication including TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, VLAN, MPLS, etc.
- Experience with high availability, high-scale, Active-Active DC, and performance systems
- Experience with network infrastructure as code & systems automation (e.g. Ansible, Python) and DCIM concepts.
- Very good team player and communicator. Ability to work with and guide international working teams located at several locations
- Organized methodical approach, able to set and work towards clearly defined targets, able to work effectively in occasionally intense environment
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to present in person or using remote tools
- Ensure ownership and accountability in yourself and encourage others to do the same
Desired / Optional Skills
- Certifications-one or more of the following: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
- Understanding of the PCI DSS Compliance requirements
- Understanding DevOps culture (CI/CD, build, deploy and test application)
- Experience building complex pipelines using automated workflow is a plus
- Familiar with system and software architecture like virtualization technologies (VMware), operating systems (Linux/Windows), load balancers (F5), containers and microservices (OpenSHIFT).
- Good knowledge of Configuration Management Tools like Ansible
- Experienced in scripting using Shell, Python, PowerShell
- Experienced in the Centralized Logging System (Splunk, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, etc.)
- Experienced in Monitoring Systems (Prometheus & Grafana / Zabbix)
- Fast learner, Self-driven, highly motivated, have can do attitude, able to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
Language skills
- Must possess excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral) to be able to work with international context (France, India, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, China...).
