BRED IT hosts and manages all layers of BRED International Banks Information Systems: From Infrastructures to Applications (Core Banking, Internet/Mobile Banking, E-Payments…), on a 24x7 basis.

 

Half of the activity is currently performed for BRED Headquarters, with a focus on Projects (built with Java, COBOL, PHP, DataStage) and Production/Devops.

Mission:

We are looking for a Business Analyst, with both functional and technical background in banking industry and in Project Management.

 

Business Analyst must be able to gather requirements, formalize business processes, write specifications, manage implementation of workflows via a configurable solution (no technical skills are required on the solution itself). Business Analyst would also manage the backlog of request coming from banks stakeholders, coordinate the prioritization of the delivery, define a project plan with the help of experts and Head of Department, assist business teams through workshops and conduction of tests, have a strong analytical mind and be an excellent communicator.

 

In this role, Business Analyst will lead IT projects for International Banks, closely work with BRED IT experts (in Thailand) and with our Bank teams (international) that will act as level 1 support locally.


 

Responsibilities

·        Follow, maintain, improve the product governance to ensure it is aligned with the Company standards, while ensuring an efficient delivery and maintenance pace (with the help of head of department).

·        Coordinate Project Management and related governance along with the project team and head of department (project committees, reporting).

·        Gather list of requests from Bank Business stakeholders to maintain a product backlog.

·        Gather the prioritization -by business stakeholders- of the projects identified in the backlog, ultimately to formalize a realistic project roadmap.

·        Participate and/or lead workshops with Business Experts to design the target of specific projects.

·        Analyze Business requirements from the banks and design functional specifications.

·        Follow training on a Business Process Management solution.

·        Modelize processes on the Business Process Management solution.

·        Follow-up and coordinate business stakeholders (international) for implementation and tests of the modelized Processes.

·        Coordinate user guides preparation with business stakeholders, eventually conduct demo or training to facilitate appropriation by ‘champion’ users.

 

Experience and Skills

·        2 years’ experience in Project management.

·        Ideally working within banking domains in an international context with exposure to several geographical and cultural regions.

  • Functional Bank Knowledge in Core Banking activities and IT solutions is a plus.

·        Technical skills in SQL.

  • Experience in end-to end implementation of IT systems.
  • Experience on implementation, Trouble shooting, and resolution of issues encountered in Testing cycles.
  • Experience in the functional workflows. Ideally related to Bank customer relationship or Bank internal processes.
  • Experience with DAMAaaS BPM solution and/or Flexcube Core Banking (Oracle) is a plus.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral) to be able to work with international teams (France, Laos, Cambodia, Fiji, Vanuatu...).
  • French is a plus.

 

 

Education

·        Bachelors or Masters / University degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.

·        English fluent.
