BRED IT (Thailand) Ltd.is a wholly owned subsidiary of the French bank BRED Banque Populaire based out of Paris (BPCE Group). 


BRED IT was established in 2008 with the objective to become the IT hub for BRED Group Commercial Banks in South East Asia, Pacific Ocean, and the Horn of Africa areas. 

In parallel, BRED IT has expanded its activities since 2011 to also provide remote IT services to Paris Headquarters.


Today, with more than 200 employees, BRED IT fully supports Banque Franco Lao in Laos, BRED Bank Cambodia, BRED Bank Vanuatu, BRED Bank Solomon Islands, BRED Bank Fiji and Banque pour le commerce et l’industrie Mer Rouge (BCIMR) in Djibouti:

BRED IT hosts and manages all layers of BRED International Banks Information Systems: From Infrastructures to Applications (Core Banking, Internet/Mobile Banking, E-Payments…), on a 24x7 basis. 


Half of the activity is currently performed for BRED Headquarters, with a focus on Projects (built with Java, COBOL, PHP, DataStage) and Production/Devops.

Mission


Within Technologies & Operations Department (TOD), join the SaaS-Windows team to work in a multicultural company: 


- Deploy and update business applications running on Windows

- Ensure availability and performance of production environments

- Implement strategic projects for new applications or major upgrades

- Coordinate and Communicate operations with stakeholders 

- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents

- Ensure compliance with policies and processes

- Automatize repetitive processes and delegate operational tasks.

- Collaborate with the rest of the team: SaaS-Linux, DBAs, Platform…

Main Responsibilities


• Support & maintenance

- Provide level 2 (technical support) on business applications.

- Manage incidents & problems.

- Perform root cause analysis of issues and reduce their occurrences.

- Configure monitoring & log centralization systems for managed applications (data collection, dashboards, alerts)

- Perform routine application maintenance, upgrade & troubleshooting tasks.

- Prepare operational procedures and documentation, train level 1 support.


• Releases & deployments management

- Configure and deploy new application releases

- Define deployment procedures

- Automate recurring tasks using Jenkins, Ansible/AAP, scripting…


• Performance management

- Identify – with help of Core Infrastructure teams – root causes for performance issues.

- Give recommendations for enhancing performance, identifying the most practical alternative solutions and assisting with modifications.


• Projects

- Implement strategic projects with application stakeholders and supplier

- Collaborate with other team to design application architectures focusing on availability, resiliency, performance and security


• Miscellaneous

- Share your ideas and contribute to continuous improvement of IT production processes


Requirements

- Problem-solving attitude

- Reactivity, proactivity & discipline

- Strong Team spirit

- Fluent in English

- Ability to be on-call standby (night/weekends) 

- Experience & good knowledge of Windows environments and Middleware (IIS, MSSQL Server…)

- Experience in scripting and automation

- Understand applications interactions and dependencies in a distributed architecture with load balancers & interactions with external 3rd parties.

- Good communication skills


Technologies Knowledge

- Windows Server environments (2019+)

- IIS

- .NET and Microsoft technologies

- Scripting languages

- MS SQL Server (basic administration, backup / restore)

- Automation using Jenkins / Ansible / AAP

- Zabbix, Splunk Monitoring is a plus


Education & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience. 

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar position


Language skills

• English
