Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

As an SRE at Decube, you will play a crucial role in designing, managing, and optimizing our software components, systems, and features. You'll work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to provide insightful technical design inputs and ensure our infrastructure is performing at its best.

Job Description:

1. Leading the design of software components, systems, and features that drive Decube's growth and enhance its performance, availability, scalability, efficiency, and security.
2. Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to provide technical design inputs and support new feature development.
3. Managing Decube's infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
4. Automating and improving deployment pipelines.
5. Configuring effective monitoring systems to ensure the health of our infrastructure and providing support during production outages.
6. Planning the growth and optimizing the cost of Decube's infrastructure.
7. Educating the Engineering team on DevOps best practices.

Job Requirements:

1. 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE.
2. Hands-on experience deploying production applications on Kubernetes.
3. Strong proficiency in Ruby/Python programming languages.
4. Deep understanding of scaling and high availability concerns in production environments.
5. Production workload deployment experience on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
6. Experience configuring and monitoring with at least one infrastructure observability tool.
7. Bonus points for additional experience in networking and security.
8. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
