Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the design of software components, systems, and features that drive Decube's growth and enhance its performance, availability, scalability, efficiency, and security.
• Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to provide technical design inputs and support new feature development.
• Managing Decube's infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Automating and improving deployment pipelines.
• Configuring effective monitoring systems to ensure the health of our infrastructure and providing support during production outages.
• Planning the growth and optimizing the cost of Decube's infrastructure.
• Educating the Engineering team on DevOps best practices.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE are preferred but;
• Fresh Graduates with exposure to Kubernetes are welcomed to apply too!
• Strong proficiency in Ruby/Python programming languages.
• Hands-on experience deploying production applications on Kubernetes for experienced engineers.
• Deep understanding of scaling and high availability concerns in production environments.
• Production workload deployment experience on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience configuring and monitoring with at least one infrastructure observability tool.
• Bonus points for additional experience in networking and security.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
