We are seeking a responsible, vigilant, and service-oriented Safety & Security Officer to safeguard the safety, security, and well-being of our guests, employees, visitors, and hotel assets. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while delivering professional and courteous service in line with our hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property.
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarm panels, fire safety equipment, and access control systems.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, incidents, accidents, security breaches, and guest assistance requests.
- Enforce hotel security policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform investigations and prepare incident, accident, and occurrence reports as required.
- Monitor staff, contractor, and visitor access to the hotel premises.
- Assist in crowd control, traffic management, and VIP movements when necessary.
- Conduct routine inspections of fire-fighting equipment, emergency exits, and safety facilities.
- Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and evacuation exercises.
- Coordinate with local authorities, including Police, Fire & Rescue Department, and other relevant agencies when required.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional security presence.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Safety & Security Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Management.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security services, hospitality security, law enforcement, or related fields is an advantage.
- Fresh candidates with a strong interest in security operations are encouraged to apply.
- Physically fit and able to perform patrol duties and shift work.
- Good observation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to remain calm and professional during emergency situations.
- Basic computer knowledge is an added advantage.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
