We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Assistant to support our Finance and Procurement operations by ensuring all goods received are accurately inspected, recorded, and distributed according to hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect all incoming goods, supplies, and materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), and invoices.
- Verify quantity, quality, specifications, and condition of goods received.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Received Notes (GRN) and related receiving documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, store personnel, and department representatives regarding deliveries and discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of received items in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Assist in inventory control, stock monitoring, and periodic stock counts.
- Report damaged, short-supplied, or incorrect items to the Purchasing and Finance departments.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the receiving area.
- Support cost control initiatives and compliance with Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in receiving, storekeeping, inventory control, or a similar role.
- Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory systems.
- Good attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
