Job Description:
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet hotel revenue goals.
- Manage and grow assigned market segments including corporate, travel agents, government, and MICE.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively seek new business leads.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with hotel standards and client requirements.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and participate in trade shows when required.
- Coordinate with other departments (F&B, Rooms, Events) to ensure smooth delivery of guest expectations.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to support pricing and positioning strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports for management.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant sales experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Proven experience in handling corporate and government accounts is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of hotel PMS/CRM systems is a plus.
- Willing to travel locally for sales activities and familiar with the East Coast market is preferred.
