Job Description:

  1. Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet hotel revenue goals.
  2. Manage and grow assigned market segments including corporate, travel agents, government, and MICE.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively seek new business leads.
  4. Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with hotel standards and client requirements.
  5. Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and participate in trade shows when required.
  6. Coordinate with other departments (F&B, Rooms, Events) to ensure smooth delivery of guest expectations.
  7. Monitor market trends and competitors to support pricing and positioning strategies.
  8. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports for management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant sales experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience in handling corporate and government accounts is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-oriented with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve sales targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of hotel PMS/CRM systems is a plus.
  • Willing to travel locally for sales activities and familiar with the East Coast market is preferred.
