Job Description:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to grow room and banquet revenue.
  2. Manage assigned market segments and drive proactive sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  3. Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and presentations to promote the hotel’s offerings.
  4. Negotiate contracts and prepare proposals, ensuring profitability and compliance with hotel policies.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and events.
  6. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and account information in CRM systems.
  7. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  8. Prepare and submit monthly sales reports and forecasts to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  9. Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minium 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales, with proven success in account management.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international corporate and MICE markets.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems (e.g., Delphi, Opera, Salesforce, IDB).
  • Able to travel and represent the hotel for sales-related activities and trade shows.
  • Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia and other languages are an advantage.
