Job Description:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to grow room and banquet revenue.
- Manage assigned market segments and drive proactive sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and presentations to promote the hotel’s offerings.
- Negotiate contracts and prepare proposals, ensuring profitability and compliance with hotel policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and events.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and account information in CRM systems.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Prepare and submit monthly sales reports and forecasts to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minium 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales, with proven success in account management.
- Strong knowledge of local and international corporate and MICE markets.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems (e.g., Delphi, Opera, Salesforce, IDB).
- Able to travel and represent the hotel for sales-related activities and trade shows.
- Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia and other languages are an advantage.
