Job Description:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate, MICE, and travel trade accounts.
- Develop and implement sales action plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities through proactive sales calls, presentations, and site inspections.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery to secure repeat business.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and follow-up correspondence with clients and prospects.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Collaborate with the Revenue and Marketing teams on pricing, promotions, and campaigns.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Train and mentor junior sales team members, ensuring high performance and motivation.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing key accounts.
- Strong understanding of hotel market segmentation, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems (e.g., IDB, Opera).
- Professional appearance with a customer-focused and goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
