Job Description:

  1. Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate, MICE, and travel trade accounts.
  2. Develop and implement sales action plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  3. Identify new business opportunities through proactive sales calls, presentations, and site inspections.
  4. Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery to secure repeat business.
  5. Prepare proposals, contracts, and follow-up correspondence with clients and prospects.
  6. Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  7. Collaborate with the Revenue and Marketing teams on pricing, promotions, and campaigns.
  8. Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
  9. Train and mentor junior sales team members, ensuring high performance and motivation.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing key accounts.
  • Strong understanding of hotel market segmentation, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems (e.g., IDB, Opera).
  • Professional appearance with a customer-focused and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
