Job Description:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival at the outlet.
- Manage reservations and efficiently coordinate seating plans during peak and off-peak hours.
- Maintain accurate waitlists and provide estimated waiting times when necessary.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and introduce the assigned service staff.
- Build rapport with guests and ensure their preferences and requests are handled appropriately.
- Support the service team in managing table turnover and maintaining an organized front desk.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the hostess stand and entrance area.
- Provide feedback to management on guest satisfaction and improvement areas.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification; hospitality-related certification is an added advantage.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a hotel or upscale restaurant.
- Pleasant personality with excellent grooming and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages are a plus.
- Comfortable using reservation systems and guest management software.
- Warm, confident, and guest-focused with a natural sense of hospitality.
- Able to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.
