Entry level / Associate / Internship


Room:

    1. Ensure the floor master key and communicative devices (where applicable) are received and returned according to the hotel procedure.
    2. Ensure the working report is received, correctly filled and returned according to hotel procedure.
    3. Make up guestroom (including balcony area where applicable) daily accordingly to the standards set by hotel.
    4. Perform night turn down service daily based on the standards set by Hotel.
    5. Clean and maintain guestrooms, carpet, wallpapers, furniture and bathrooms daily.
    6. Tidy up guest items as directed by procedure.
    7. Clean, tidy and maintain the maid’s trolley and floor pantries at all times.
    8. Handle soil linen as specified by hotel procedure.
    9. Report any damage of hotel property, furniture, fixtures and working equipment to supervisor.
  1. To handle the "Do Not Disturb" rooms in accordance to hotel procedure.
    1. Collect and dispose the garbage from the trolley and pantry; according to hotel procedure.
    2. Check rooms carefully, report and hand over (according to hotel procedure) all lost and found in rooms and corridors.
    3. Report any unusual, sick or irregular behavior of guest and staff who arouses suspicion.
    4. Complete spring-cleaning or project of all rooms as required and/ or requested by supervisor.
    5. Prepare arrival rooms as indicated on the daily maids’ report.
    6. Ensure the steps are followed in accordance to promote “green environment”.
    7. Collect and stack the Room Service items to service area according to procedure.

Public Area:

  1. Responsible to maintain the cleanliness and upkeeping of the public areas, F&B outlets, offices and back of the house.
  2. Dust all furniture, fixtures, lamps and all decoration.
  3. Empty and clean all ashtrays and trash bin.
  4. Clean all wash basin, toilet, urinal bowl and wall in accordance to hotel procedure.
  5. Clean all mirror.
  6. Replenish toilet papers, hand soap, towel and all other items to set par.
  7. Report any damage of hotel properties or working equipments to supervisor.
  8. The ability to maintain all equipment and supplies and use them in a proper manner.
  9. Report any maintenance and repair in his/ her areas to supervisor or housekeeping office.
  10. Hand in all lost and found items from public area.
  11. 11 .Report to supervisor anything which may be a health and safety hazard.
