Responsible for managing all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The role involves managing staff, ensuring product and service standards are met, and implementing and maintaining procedures to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Operational Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all F&B outlets within the hotel, including restaurants, room service, banquets, and catering.
  • Ensure all F&B areas operate efficiently and profitably while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Implement operational policies, procedures, and systems to ensure smooth operations.


Financial Management

  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and manage costs within the department to achieve financial targets.
  • Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to improve sales and profitability.
  • Control and manage inventory, including sourcing and procurement of supplies.


Guest Experience

  • Ensure exceptional guest service is provided in all F&B outlets.
  • Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback to continuously improve services


Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise F&B staff to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.


Menu Development

  • Work with the Executive Chef to design and implement new menus.
  • Ensure menu items are consistently prepared and presented according to hotel standards.
  • Monitor food and beverage trends and incorporate them into the menu as appropriate.


System Management

  • Ensure the reservation system is up-to-date and functioning efficiently.
  • Train team members on the use of the PMS and other reservation software.
  • Work with IT to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements.


Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure all F&B operations comply with local health and safety regulations.
  • Implement and monitor hygiene practices and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of F&B areas.


Marketing and Promotion

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote F&B offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to create promotional events and activities.
  • Utilize social media and other platforms to enhance the visibility of F&B outlets.


Vendor and Supplier Relations

  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of quality products.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.



REQUIREMENT

  • Diploma Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role in F&B operations, preferably in the hotel industry. 
  • Strong understanding of local and international F&B trends.
