Job Descriptions:
- Preparing and cooking food to the highest standards in accordance with the menu specifications and recipes
- Assisting the Chef de Partie in managing the kitchen and supervising the kitchen staff
- Ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and hygiene
- Ensuring that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Assisting the Chef de Partie in ordering supplies and keeping track of inventory
- Ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in good working order and reporting any faults or problems to the Chef de Partie
- Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and adhering to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field
- At least 1- 2 years of experience in a similar position in a hotel or restaurant
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- High standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
