Job Descriptions:


  1. Preparing and cooking food to the highest standards in accordance with the menu specifications and recipes
  2. Assisting the Chef de Partie in managing the kitchen and supervising the kitchen staff
  3. Ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and hygiene
  4. Ensuring that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times
  5. Assisting the Chef de Partie in ordering supplies and keeping track of inventory
  6. Ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in good working order and reporting any faults or problems to the Chef de Partie
  7. Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and adhering to all health and safety regulations


Requirements:


  • Diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field
  • At least 1- 2 years of experience in a similar position in a hotel or restaurant
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
  • High standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations
