Job Description:
- Monitor and ensure the safety and security of guests, employees and the hotel premises
- Conduct regular security rounds in the hotel premises and identify any potential security threats
- Implement security procedures and protocols to prevent any security breaches or incidents
- Provide assistance and support to guests and employees during emergency situations
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations and standards related to safety and security
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services if needed
- Conduct investigations on any security-related incidents and prepare reports accordingly
- Train and educate employees on safety and security procedures and protocols
Requirements:
- Malaysian citizen or permanent resident
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent
- Relevant certifications in security or safety management will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed during emergency situations
- Physical fitness and agility to carry out security rounds and respond to emergency situations
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to safety and security
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
