Summary
This role focuses on TikTok content creation, TikTok Live cutdowns and creative ad editing, . You will transform raw footage, ideas, and trends into high-performing video content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and conversions.
You will also explore how AI tools can be used to enhance editing speed, creativity, and content production workflows.
Key Responsibilities
TikTok & Social Content
- Edit short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms
- Transform raw footage into engaging, social-first storytelling
- Repurpose content into multiple formats for different platforms
- Stay updated with TikTok trends, viral formats, sounds, and editing styles
TikTok Live Content
- Cut and edit TikTok Live recordings into highlight clips and product-focused content
- Identify key moments from live sessions and turn them into engaging short-form videos
- Support live commerce content through post-live storytelling edits
Creative Ads & Performance Content
- Edit high-performing video creatives for TikTok, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and other paid social platforms
- Develop engaging, conversion-focused ads with strong hooks, pacing, and storytelling
- Create multiple variations of creatives for testing and optimisation
- Turn UGC, campaign footage, and raw assets into polished performance-driven content
- Ensure content aligns with brand direction while optimising for performance outcomes
Scheduling Content
- Assist in scheduling content on TikTok Platform in accordance to Content Calendar
AI & Creative Tools
- Use AI tools to support ideation, editing, and content enhancement
- Explore AI features for captions, subtitles, scripting, voiceovers, and generative content
- Continuously experiment with new tools to improve creative output and efficiency
Content Support (Secondary Role)
- Assist with content shoots when required, including capturing social-first footage for editing purposes
- Support the Brand team during campaign shoots and content planning sessions
Requirements
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (Diploma or Degree in Film, Media, Mass Communication, Design, or related fields)
- Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing skills (TikTok, Reels, or short-form content preferred)
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software
- Good understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form video formats
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual editing for social media content
- Interest in social media trends, internet culture, and viral content formats
- Familiarity with AI tools for creative or editing purposes is a plus (training can be provided)
- Willingness to learn quickly, experiment, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic shooting or content capture skills is a bonus but not required
